President, Japanese Society for Pediatric Nephrology (JSPN) IPNA Executive Committee member Dean, Graduate School of Medicine, University of the Ryukyus Professor & Chairman, Department of Child Health and Welfare (Pediatrics) Prof. Nakanishi has received his MD in Kobe University in1989. Currently, he serves as President, Japanese Society for Pediatric Nephrology. His research has included IgA nephropathy, HSPN, Alport syndrome, PKD, genetic NS and so on. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Pediatric Nephrology. He has authored Pediatric Nephrology textbook. He has served as a member of the development of international guidelines for nephrotic syndrome and IgA nephropathy in children.
