Renal involvement is common in SLE. Clinical presentation of lupus nephritis (LN) is highly variable and ranging from mild asymptomatic proteinuria to rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis. Renal biopsy is important way in the diagnosis, management and prognosis of patient. In this setting ninety-three (93) lupus nephritis cases undergone renal biopsy and their clinicopathological features and correlation was studied.

This retrospective descriptive study was conducted from 2018 to 2023 on all consecutive cases of biopsy-proven LN with aged more than 14 years at department of nephrology, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The demographic, clinical and laboratory data were obtained from data sheet of patient and the biopsy findings from histopathological report.
