Theme : Theme 1: Better Kidney Health

Organized by : DaVita

Session Description :
In 2025, the World Health Organisation formally recognised Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) as a global health priority, urging countries worldwide to integrate comprehensive kidney care into their national health policies. This announcement, supported by the International Society of Nephrology, highlights the need for collaborative action across the entire healthcare community in addressing this growing health challenge.
As a leading global provider of kidney care services, DaVita is deeply committed to this cause. We partner with public healthcare systems to support individuals living with kidney disease, striving to maximise their quality of life, improve health outcomes, and ensure an outstanding patient experience.
This session will illuminate the impactful initiatives in screening, diagnosis, and treatment of CKD that are making a difference across the globe. Our distinguished speakers will share invaluable insights from their work, focusing on the management of CKD in Africa and advancements in the quality of care for End-Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) in South America. Join us to explore how we can collectively advance kidney care for communities everywhere.
