Welcome to "The Dialysis Games" - a high-energy, interactive spotlight session where knowledge meets competition. In this gamified showdown, participants will test and sharpen their understanding of CRRT, PLEX, anticoagulation strategies, troubleshooting, and real-world emergency scenarios. Set in a dynamic format with simulations, case-races, and live polling, this session aims to demystify complex therapies like CRRT and PLEX by making learning immersive, fun, and clinically relevant.

 

Learning objectives:
1. Apply core principles of CRRT, including modality selection, fluid balance, anticoagulation, and prescription design
2. Interpret dynamic case-based challenges to choose the optimal PLEX approach in diverse clinical settings
3. Troubleshoot alarms, access issues, filter clotting, and electrolyte derangements in real-time
4. Simulate ICU emergencies requiring quick decisions involving extracorporeal support
5. Understand the operational limitations and solutions in LMIC settings for CRRT and PLEX delivery
