Big Data Lab 2 - Deepen your understanding of CKD and AKI in healthy and diseased kidneys:  The Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP) Kidney Tissue Atlas

7 Feb 2025 3:45 p.m. 4:30 p.m.
Big Data Lab

Session description:
Learn how to access the publicly available Kidney Tissue Atlas and make informed decisions in your research.  The Atlas combines molecular medicine concepts with digital pathology to reclassify kidney diseases and help you understand their underlying causes with two distinct and powerful tools:
Learning objectives:
- The Atlas Explorer: Using the extensive search functions, you will easily master the search for genes or cell types to access concise data visualizations across all of KPMP’s cutting-edge ‘omics’ technologies and data types. The workflow in the Atlas is dynamic, allowing you to explore and interpret these comprehensive datasets, from single-cell sequencing data to regional transcriptomics.
- The Spatial Viewer: Dig into spatial datasets using the advanced visualization tools in the Atlas. You will quickly learn to filter and explore data by imaging technology, participant information, and more.
