Though the platforms are diverse and cannot be compared on single parameter, it is clear that the reach of activities is wide and vast. Such activities help in networking , sharing, and empowering the nephrology fraternity. Encouraging trainees at early career stage would reinforce the scientific motivation. However, the scope of utilization of each feature should be further strengthened with special focus on utilization in LMICs.

Conclusions:

Social media activities are highly engaging and learning platforms for Nephrology community. To further improve the global attention ,the scope of reach and utilisation should be further focussed upon. Nurturing the younger generation in such activities would lead to a stronger scientific impetus in forth coming digital years.
