Session description:
This session will present challenging cases with electrolyte disorders that are encountered in the intensive care unit. Specific focus will be on sodium, calcium and potassium disorders. 
Learning objectives:
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
Describe the use of continuous renal replacement therapies in correction of severe hyponatremia. Understand the etiologies and therapeutic approach to severe hypercalcemia in critical illness. Understand the various therapeutic approaches to severe hyperkalemia.
