Maria Eugenia Victoria Bianchi holds a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from CEMIC University Institute, CABA, Argentina. She was a Full Professor of Physiology at the School of Medicine of the Argentine Northeast University. She has mentored numerous students and published two books and scientific articles.
Professor Bianchi´s research focused on detecting kidney damage and cardiovascular risk factors in disadvantaged populations.
She has received various prestigious awards as the Joel Kopple Award (Lyon, France. 2014), SLANH (2012, 2014), and ISN ( Querétaro, Mexico, 2017).
As President of the Argentine Northeast Kidney Foundation, she has coordinated the Conference on Kidney Disease in Disadvantaged Populations of the Southern Latin American Cone. April 8 to 10, 2010. Resistencia, Chaco.
